Fieldtrip! No class at Carnegie Nov 29
We opened our UBC Liu Institute exhibit with a social writing event that was so well-received they invited us back!
On November 29 Thursdays Writing Collective and DTES residents will travel to UBC to the Liu Institute for Global Issues. It’s a lunchtime writing session open to DTES writers, students, professors, and the public. Join us and the friendly staff at the Liu Institute to view the display in the lobby, and to write together from prompts about housing and accessibility.
The event is Thursday, Nov 29, 12-1:30 at the Liu Institute for Global Issues, 6476 Marine Drive (across from MOA)
Free lunch is provided – and sounds delicious!
THERE WILL BE NO REGULAR WRITING SESSION AT CARNEGIE THAT DAY.
THE 2PM TO 4 PM WRITING SESSION IS CANCELLED FOR NOV 29 ONLY.
