Thursdays Writer Headed to UBC

Congratulations to Middle of the Sky Woman Brenda Prince which has just been accepted to UBC’s Creative Writing MFA program! Brenda began writing with us six years ago when we first started. Over the years she has written beautiful pieces that have been published in our chapbooks, translated into Spanish by CBC radio and of course, added substantial perspective to V6A: Writing from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

 

We are so happy to see Brenda’s diligence and creativity continue to blossom and we wish her the best at UBC. We are excited to continue writing with her!
