Building: An Evening of Social Writing with Thursdays Writing Collective

During this two-hour, free session open to DTES residents and others, we will write short pieces about housing and architectural space. Thursdays Writing Collective’s Elee Kraljii Gardiner will lead an informal and creative event that includes building physical structures out of blocks and pipe cleaners, visual ideas about space, and spoken prompts of architectural terms. Dunlevy Snackbar proprietor Theo Lloyd-Kohls is making an edible house for us to write about – and devour!

Participants are welcome to contribute their writing from the night to The Stanza Project, a publication forthcoming in 2013 from Thursdays Writing Collective.
